L’Agenzia Spaziale Tedesca quattro ore fa via Twitter informava che oggi, 23 ottobre 2011, il satellite ROSAT è rientrato in atmosfera alle ore 2.15 del tempo universale:

“Today, 23 October 2011, between 1:45 UTC and 2:15 UTC #ROSAT has re-entered Earth’s atmosphere. www.dlr.de/en/rosat”

Un secondo messaggio affermava che al momento non vi sono conferme se i frammenti del satellite hanno raggiunto la Terra:

There is currently no confirmation if pieces of #ROSAT debris have reached Earth’s surface. www.dlr.de/en/rosat
